A MESSAGE FROM OUR HANDICAPPED OWNER:
Ever since my hip replacement I’ve been using a walking stick – the type that has been unchanged for centuries. And then, on a visit to USA, I saw somebody with a walking stick that had a torch in the handle. Fantastic!
I immediately wanted one. With this, I would be safe from tripping over objects in the dark when walking at night, and would be seen by oncoming cars when I cross the road.
Eventually I found a store that carried them, but the American model had serious flaws. The torch was hinged, and hinges wear out and droop. It also had a tip with very little road grip, and – like with other walking sticks on sale – each time I hit the pavement with it, my shoulder stressed.
So I decided to start a little business doing nothing else but producing the very best walking stick that money could buy and one that would address these faults. I wanted a handle with a fixed light and easy grip, a tip that would grip the road, and – if possible – something that would take the shock out of the road-contact.
Then I also wanted another model I could take on my travels and this would have to fold easily – much better than my own folding stick that kept jamming, and of course I also wanted the light factor, to see and be seen in the dark. But the road gripping tip was also important, and after months of design tests, the two LightWalker models were the result. They are simply the best by any test!
Try one today and you will never want to use anything else. Both the telescopic model LWT or folding model LWF are made from the finest aeronautical grade aluminium and make walking a pleasure, especially in the dark.
